Did you know that in the Philippines, only 34% of infants under six months are being breastfeed? Based from the 2014 State of the World’s Children report conducted by UNICEF, Philippines has been placed among the top nations that has a low rate of exclusive breastfeeding. Most mothers choose to buy formula milk for their infants for reasons that breastfeeding is painful. But recent data shows that child malnutrition in the country increases for the sole reason that these children were not breastfed when they were infants.
