5 Ways to Prevent Osteoporosis

  • Exercise helps to slow the process of bone loss and improves muscles strength as well. Some suggestions are running, dancing, yoga, hiking or different sports.

  • Smoking harms one’s bones by lowering the amount of estrogen (helps slow down bone loss) in the body.
  1. Reduce alcoholic drink intake
  • Alcohol decreases the ability of the body to use the calcium present in the body.
  1. Food Supplement
  • Aside from eating food rich in calcium and Vitamin D, there are also supplements that provide the same or even higher dose of these vitamins and minerals. Just make sure to consult a healthcare provider before consuming any medicines.
